Buick
Gallery and Research Center
Sloan Museum's Buick Gallery is located at 303 Walnut Street, on the corner of Longway Boulevard in Flint, Michigan. The gallery features over 25 classic and concept Buicks, Chevrolets, and other locally built automobiles. Featured vehicles on exhibit are the 1910 Buick Bug race car, 1951 Buick XP-300 and 1954 Buick Wildcat II concept cars, and a Hellcat Tank Destroyer (Hellcat Tank Destroyer details) built by Buick during World War II.
Visitors can relax and enjoy an ice cream or soft drink at the 1940s soda fountain of Mackenzie's Drug Store. Pose for a photograph behind the wheel of the museum's climb-on car, a 1917 Buick Touring. Observe museum staff and volunteers as they work on our automotive collection in our new vehicle conservation and restoration shop.
